Hello, I'm João Markos akicekria, freelance illustrator, cartoonist and animator. My aptitude for drawing came from childhood and at the age of 10 I made my first handmade comic book. Another 4 comics followed. My predominant style is high fantasy and my main influences were designers Neil Adams, John Buscena and John Romita. Nationally, the artist Daniel Azulay was my main influence. The commercial appeal led me to the cartoon style, in which I had to refine my technique and in 2010, I finally created Akicekria illustrations and graphic arts. I understand that having natural ability is not enough, you need to be aware of market trends, understand the customer's needs, what they imagine, to deliver a product to their satisfaction. And that's what I look for with each order.
